About Jenny

Hi there! I'm so glad you are here.

     I'm Jenny and am thankful you are here exploring your birth and post partum options.  I have three young sons and two children with my higher power. I have my master’s degree in Human Resource Development- Educational Leadership Track as well as my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I am passionate on teaching, guiding, and learning with others.  I have been a “domestic engineer” since 2020 and was recently guided toward my new path: doula support.  
   My personal birth experiences were traumatic. My birth plan was simply to show up to the hospital and be told what to do and what decisions to make. Unfortunately, not having a plan, a doula, or birth education led to less than desirable outcomes related to my birth experiences.
     The postpartum support I experienced after all five of my pregnancies was very weak.  I struggled mentally, emotionally, and physically. I tried so hard to appear that I was still a strong woman.  I quickly learned that the value of an educational and compassionate advocate for mother and partner was crucial in postpartum success.  
     My passion and mission is to instinctively and directly provide education, support, and comfort during the prenatal, birth, and postpartum period for mommy and partner.  I value creating a special bond with the parents through several prenatal appointments, labor and birth, and postpartum appointments at their home.
   While medical staff focus on the health of the baby and family tend to focus on the new bundle of joy, I focus on taking care of mom and partner.
     My attention is solely on you while you take care of your new little one.
